The dishes Rhombe is based on the bestseller series Danild from the former porcelain factory in Lyngby near Copenhagen. The series was the best-selling dishes in Denmark until the closure of the Lyngby Porcelain fabrication in 1969. After the relaunch of the brand in 2012 the series was redesigned by the German designer Laura Strasser. The original is characterized by many decors which were applied by means of ceramic decals. Laura has adapted the dishes to the popular and famous Lyngby vase, which is particularly impressive because of the riffle pattern in the white porcelain. Rhombe is characterized by clear white, simple elegance and typical Danish design which create a decent playfulness in the pattern. Rhombe has been offered since 2014 by the relaunched brand Lyngby Porcelain.
As Christmas tree decoration the brand offers balls and a bell with the pattern. Since 2019 the label offers also Easter ornaments in pastel colors and white.
